We are seeking a Senior Sales and Service Engineer – Fire & Safety to lead sales growth and service excellence across our fire protection and safety product lines for the oil & gas sector.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in fire protection systems, safety equipment, PPE, gas detection systems, and related services.
Drive sales of portable and fixed gas detectors, SCBA equipment (sales & rental), and PPE.
Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to address customer requirements.
Prepare and deliver proposals that align with client needs and industry regulations.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, referrals, and industry events.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, marketing) to ensure successful project delivery and customer support.
Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns for target segments.
Service & Technical Support
Perform gas detector calibration, maintenance, and site inspections when required.
Provide technical assistance and after-sales service to ensure product reliability and compliance.
Ensure all proposals and projects comply with NFPA, OSHA, API, and relevant oil & gas safety standards.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, safety codes, and industry trends.
What We’re Looking For Experience & Background
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Fire & Safety sales within the oil & gas sector.
Experience with firefighting solutions is a plus.
Strong understanding of gas detection systems, SCBA, PPE, and safety equipment rental business.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales analytics platforms.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
