Required on urgent Basis for a big Group in construction & engineering sector need to hire local MEP-Engineer with as below :

Main Job Description

To support General Manager in contract administration and decision making to ensure smooth progress / successful completion of various projects, with due consideration to the project schedule, budgeted cost, project specifications, requirements etc.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall planning, design review, engineering, coordination, procurement and implementation / execution of complete scope of works covered under respective discipline.

Overall responsibility for the day-to-day working of the Projects.

Visit the project / site on weekly basis and reporting the management regarding the progress of the projects.

Develop customized plan for the Clients for their facilities to enhance energy saving opportunities.

Ensure to provide efficient maintenance support services to the Clients.

Design and provide maintenance supervision and launching services such as regular inspection, weekly progress meeting, supervise planned preventive maintenance programs, corrective maintenance etc.

Coordinate / follow up with concerned local authorities and ensure timely approval of drawings, service connections etc.

Identify the training needs of team members and arrange suitable training for improving their professional skill and competence.

To represent the Company with respect to the Project in all dealings with their Customers / Project Managers / Consultants / Contractors etc. to ensure awarded works are executed as per contract.

Handle communication with Clients / Consultants.

To identify Vendors / Subcontractors, evaluate them before prequalification and also evaluate periodically for their performance.

Ensure mobilization of manpower within the stipulated time.

Administration and Management of all the Project related staff.

Responsible for the labor’s control and authorize to approve the leave of the labors and submit the requests to the general manager for final approval.

Responsible for provision of manpower and material resources.

To ensure deployment of qualified / trained manpower on timely manner.

Conduct staff and management meetings for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Project execution.

Attend Management Review Meeting of the Quality & HSE Management System.

Ensure effective functioning of all activities in compliance with IMS Procedures.

Authorized to stop the work if any major / minor deviations of quality works / services and HSE violations are being done.

To establish quality objectives and implement quality plan / procedures and to ensure its full compliance.

Implement Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.

Qualifications

Age : 35 to 48.

Preferable Nationality : Arabic.

Language : English is a must, Arabic is an added advantage.

Experience : 10 Years’ experience in GCC preferably in Qatar in Managerial role in MEP Company, having knowledge of MEP operations and industry standard.

Sound track record of execution & managing of larger MEP Projects.

UPDA, QCDD, PMP preferred.

Education : Bachelor in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Salary : Full package between QR 30,000 to 35,000 depends on experience.
