Postal Licensing Specialist
Job Summary To undertake all activities related to licensing of postal services, and to monitor compliance of the postal service providers with the postal regulatory framework and the legal framework. To coordinate with other departments and units in company about postal regulatory activities.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all postal licensing activities. This includes implementation of the postal licensing framework and procedures, coordination with internal and external parties, etc.
Monitor compliance of the postal service providers with the terms and conditions of their licenses and with the legal and regulatory framework.
Recommend and take appropriate actions in case of non‑compliance, in accordance with company’s Compliance Framework.
Participate in internal and external meetings with postal stakeholders (e.g., service providers, ministries, etc.).
Handle all matters related to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (e.g., commercial registration, postal commercial activities, etc.).
Handle internal and external queries and prepare responses and clarifications on all postal licensing matters.
Perform regional and international benchmarks in postal subjects.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of international best practices in postal regulation and licensing.
Amend existing postal licenses to adapt to the changing environment, as needed.
Liaise with stakeholders and other regulators as required.
Any other postal activities as requested by the Section Head.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, law, or other relevant fields is required.
Master’s degree in the above fields or other related fields is preferred.
At least 2 years of work experience in a related field (e.g., postal companies).
