Overview
Support Engineers for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions :
Responsibilities
- Administration support for Microsoft Windows Servers
- Administration support for Microsoft Exchange
- Troubleshooting servers related problems
- Managing server backups as per Client Policies
- Coordination with local vendors for equipment as and when required
- Follow up with the local vendors to resolve equipment failures, ensure the delivery and support levels
- Perform assessment of each server's configuration, performance, and security and provide quarterly reports including but not limited to the following :
- Configuration of servers
- Updates, patches and service packs
- Licenses and hardware warranties
- Performance and Capacity including memory usage, CPU utilization, disk utilization etc.
- Exchange configuration, Queue size, resource utilization, Active Directory Configuration, DHCP / Domain Controller configuration, Log Analysis
- UPS Setup and Configuration
- Air conditioning
- Identify all single points of failure
- Identify any capacity / performance issues which are close to threshold
- Verify backup process and components
- Verify tape library functioning
- Verify TMG and ForeFront configurations and rules
- Provide quarterly reports of the result of the assessment
