Job description

The Principal Solutions Architect designs AI solutions tailored to media-specific needs. This role involves creating innovative and scalable AI architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful deployment and integration of AI solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Design and develop AI solutions that meet media-specific needs and business objectives.
Create and maintain AI architecture blueprints, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define solution requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to identify the best AI technologies and approaches for specific use cases.
Develop and maintain documentation for AI architectures, including design patterns, guidelines, and best practices.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed AI solutions, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and best practices, applying them to enhance solution designs.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Prepare and present technical proposals and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of departmental goals.
Perform other duties relevant to the job as assigned by the Head of AI Products & Development or senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are preferred

Minimum of 8 years of experience in solutions architecture or related fields

Experience in designing AI or technology-focused solutions

Strong architecture and design skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in AI technologies and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

In-depth understanding of AI architectures and design patterns

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services

Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory standards

Ability to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams)

Data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
