Completions and Well Integrity Engineer

A Major Operating Company in the Oil and Gas industry is looking for experienced Completion and Well Integrity Engineers for various locations globally.

Key Responsibilities

Be the `go-to` person for all completions and well integrity related matters

Provide technical support and perform technical reviews

Support and provide direction to all completion well engineering related activities within the asset team

Develop Conceptual Completion Designs and Basis of Designs for new wells projects

Provide specialist technical support to asset wells teams

Monitor progress, and provide support as required to well engineering operations team during well completions and testing operations

Perform audit of completion and testing activities as required

Ensure asset teams perform and document a risk management process throughout the completions and test design and planning activities, and closeout actions

Coordinate, project manage and implement new technology development / projects with both assets and suppliers

Get involved in Contractor and supplier performance management

Provide progress reports as required to both the Global Well Engineering Management Team and Asset teams

Key Skills and Attribute

Engineering degree

Relevant industry experience, with operator experience preferred but not essential

Completions and well testing experience essential, with knowledge of drilling, production, geology, reservoir engineer disciplines desirable

Knowledge in one of the following fields : well test, downhole sand control, hydraulic fracturing, deepwater and intelligent completions

Good understanding of well testing and production applications

Advanced knowledge of industry normal practices associated with testing, work-over, wire-line and completion operations

Understanding of the engineering criteria associated with completion, testing and production operations

Understanding of Geological and Petroleum Engineering priorities and well associated requirements

Well budgets and cost allocation and monitoring; cost optimization techniques

Internationally mobile, travel as required

Good communicator at all levels, clear presenter internally and externally with an ability to influence
