Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in a related discipline. 20+ years of experience in contracting and procurement, including at least 3 years in a governmental role within the State of Qatar. Proven ability to manage contract negotiations involving international vendors and joint ventures. Experience in drafting performance‑based contracts and service‑level agreements (SLAs). Familiarity with Qatar’s legal framework for public contracts, including Law No. 24 of 2015 (the Regulation of Tenders and Auctions Law). Ability to assess and manage contract risks, including financial exposure and legal liabilities. Experience in contract close‑out procedures, including final audits and reconciliation. Strong understanding of contract amendments, extensions, and termination protocols. Ability to mentor junior contract officers and contribute to institutional capacity building. Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) is a must.
