Librarian Assistant (Ar-Ruwais, Egypt)

We are seeking a skilled and organized Librarian Assistant to join our team at a prestigious library in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month. As the Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the head librarian in managing the library's collection and providing excellent customer service to library patrons.

Note : This job is open only for African or Egyptian nationals who have relevant experience working as a librarian assistant. English language proficiency is not required for this position. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head librarian in maintaining and organizing the library's collection.
• Help with cataloging, labeling, and shelving books and other materials.
• Provide support in conducting research and locating resources for patrons.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as keeping track of library materials and maintaining records.
• Answer inquiries from patrons regarding library resources, services, and policies.
• Help plan and coordinate library events and programs.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations of the library.
