About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Local Support Assistant in Doha Qatar to assist with on-site interventions at our local office.

Job Overview

The Local Support Assistant will be responsible for handling operational tasks on-site ensuring smooth processes for shipments inventory office support and general coordination. This is not a full-time role but an on-demand position with pre-scheduled interventions communicated in advance.

Responsibilities

  • Shipment Assistance — Prepare shipments to and from the office ensuring proper packing and documentation.
  • Track incoming and outgoing shipments confirm deliveries and follow up with carriers (DHL FedEx etc.).
  • Ensure timely delivery and consistent status follow-up.
  • Inventory Management — Conduct regular inventory checks for office equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain and update inventory records reporting any discrepancies or low stock levels.
  • General Support & Coordination — Assist with miscellaneous tasks in the office as needed.
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for support requests.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve technical or logistical issues.
  • Ensure clear communication regarding the status of shipments inventory and operational matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Energetic & Motivated : Proactive in handling tasks and problem-solving.
  • Detail-Oriented : Strong accuracy in managing shipments inventory and light technical support.
  • Flexible Availability : Must be available for on-demand interventions scheduled in advance (Sunday to Thursday in Qatar).
  • Proximity to Office : Ideally located near the Doha office (Zone 17) to ensure quick response times.
  • Technical Skills : Basic knowledge of office equipment and IT troubleshooting.
  • Strong Communication Skills : Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Experience : Background in logistics admin or technical support roles is a plus but not mandatory.
