Job Role – Cloud Engineer
Job Location : Doha Qatar – Onsite or Fully Remote. Experience Range : 3–8 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure & GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
- Manage Kubernetes (AKS, GKE, OpenShift) clusters and containerized workloads.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
- Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate build, test and deployment processes for microservices and monolithic applications.
- Implement automated testing and release management strategies.
- Integrate security best practices into pipelines (DevSecOps) including secrets management (Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault).
- Ensure infrastructure complies with enterprise security and regulatory standards.
- Manage cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
- Support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with developers, architects and IT teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Document system configurations, processes and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with Azure and Google Cloud.Strong proficiency in Azure & GCP (Azure preferred).Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).Experience with CI / CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI / CD).Familiarity with monitoring, logging and observability stacks.Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python).Understanding of networking, load balancing and security principles.Experience and Level of Expertise
Google Cloud Platform – 3 years; Azure – 3 years; Docker – 2 years; Kubernetes – 2 years; CI / CD – 2 years; PowerShell – 1 year; DevOps – 1 year; Helm – 1 year; Terraform – 1 year; Python – 1 year.
