The Inpatient Billing Officer is responsible for accurately processing and managing all inpatient billing activities, ensuring timely invoicing, compliance with hospital policies, insurance regulations, and maintaining clear financial records for patients and third-party payers. Responsibilities

Prepare and process inpatient bills accurately and on time. Verify patient information, treatment details, and insurance coverage. Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals and claim settlements. Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries. Maintain accurate billing records and documentation. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure correct billing codes. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and insurance regulations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, or related field. Proven experience in hospital billing or healthcare finance preferred. Knowledge of medical coding, billing software, and insurance procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential patient and financial informationprofessionally.
