About the location Seaside retreat in the heart of Qatar’s capital; experience the completely new Four Seasons Hotel Doha, reimagined with modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views. From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets / outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities, an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re‑opened in March 2020.

About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Assistant Reservations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Reservations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring that all guest inquiries and bookings are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of personalized service. You will play a key role in maximizing room revenue, maintaining strong relationships with internal departments, and ensuring an exceptional pre‑arrival experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operations of the reservations team to ensure smooth workflow and consistent service excellence.

Assist in managing room inventory, rates, and availability in coordination with Revenue and Sales departments.

Monitor and analyse booking patterns, group blocks, and reservation trends to optimise occupancy and revenue.

Handle VIP, group, and special reservation requests with a high level of attention to detail.

Support the Reservations Manager in training, coaching, and developing team members.

Ensure all guest data is accurate and up to date in the system (Opera, PMS, or equivalent).

Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Marketing to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.

Prepare reports and assist in implementing reservation‑related procedures and policies.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Reservations or Front Office, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

Strong understanding of hotel reservation systems (Opera experience preferred).

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.

Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
