Finance Treasury Senior Expert - Power Sector

Description Apt Resources is seeking a seasoned Finance Treasury Senior Expert to join a prominent organization in the power sector. In this strategic role you will oversee treasury operations and implement effective financial risk management strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in treasury functions cash flow management and financial markets. Your role will be critical in maintaining optimal liquidity supporting financial stability and enhancing the organizations overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize the companys cash flow and liquidity positions.

Develop and implement effective treasury policies and procedures.

Monitor and analyze financial markets to inform treasury operations.

Oversee banking relationships and negotiate terms to enhance financial efficiency.

Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure.

Prepare and present reports on treasury activities and cash flow forecasts to senior management.

Monitor bank account balances and cash positions to confirm adequate funding is available for all financial commitments.

Ensure compliance with all banking and financial agreements including loan covenants and prepare necessary documentation for monthly reviews.

Manage the preparation and recommend the sectional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or Business from a reputable university is required with an MBA being an advantageous option for candidates.

10 years of experience in similar roles in large companies of which at least 4 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities demonstrating a strong need for effective leadership skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking skills.

Solid people management skills.

Good understanding of power / energy and water sectors emerging trends technologies and key players.

Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).

Excellent relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work with key stakeholders senior executives management team and external partners / advisors through collaboration & teamwork.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment

Benefits Salary : QAR 30000 to 38000 max plus all other benefits.
