Site Electrical Engineer Job Summary :

We are hiring a skilled and dedicated Site Electrical Engineer to manage and supervise electrical installations on site. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of LV / ELV systems, authority requirements, and the ability to coordinate effectively with the project team to deliver quality work on schedule.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily electrical works at site in line with project specifications and drawings.

Prepare and follow up on Inspection Requests (IRs) and Request for Information (RFIs).

Review, prepare, and modify shop drawings as required for site conditions.

Guide and monitor site electricians / technicians to ensure tasks are completed on time with quality.

Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) for smooth project execution.

Ensure compliance with Kahramaa, QCS, and relevant authority codes and standards.

Assist in material inspections, approvals, and installations.

Supervise installation of lighting, power distribution, earthing, and ELV systems.

Maintain daily site records, reports, and documentation.

Attend site meetings and escalate issues to the Project Engineer / Manager as needed.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards at site.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3–5 years of site experience in MEP projects (preferably residential buildings).

Strong knowledge of electrical systems including LV distribution, ELV systems, and authority regulations.

Familiar with Kahramaa approval processes and standards.

Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an advantage.

Ability to lead and supervise site teams effectively.

Flexible, hardworking, and detail-oriented.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
