Senior Cargo Customer Service Agent

Are you a seasoned logistics professional with a passion for cargo and customer service? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cargo Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic team! This is a Permanent position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading logistics provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of cargo customer service, ensuring timely and efficient handling of shipments.

• Provide exceptional customer support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong relationships with clients.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate movement of cargo.

• Process and maintain accurate documentation, including airway bills, shipping manifests, and other relevant paperwork.

• Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage orders, and update shipment statuses.

• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, implementing solutions to minimize delays and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cargo handling, freight forwarding, or related logistics roles.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in cargo handling and freight forwarding processes.

• Exceptional customer support and communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Proven ability to effectively resolve customer issues and address complex problems.

• Strong understanding of documentation requirements in the logistics industry.

• Experience with CRM software and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.

• Fluency in Urdu, in addition to English.

• Experience with specific cargo management systems.

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., IATA, FIATA).
