Chief Engineer

This position will be responsible for managing the engineering team setting technical direction and ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, safely and in alignment with company goals. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of all systems, facilities, and technical equipment.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as brand and local standards.
• Support in developing and managing departmental budgets, cost‑control measures and energy‑efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior management and other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
• Plan and execute capital improvement and renovation projects.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and guest service calls.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent maintenance of facilities.
• Lead, motivate and train team members to deliver exceptional service and technical performance.
