Project coordinator

Responsibilities

To gather information and plan the revision of technical documentation from relevant stakeholders.

To specify, develop and implement the content in the Employers Requirements.

To distribute and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders of the updated Employer requirements.

Ensure all documentation is clear, concise and tailored to the needs of stakeholders.

Organize workshops with relevant stakeholders to collect and categorize lessons learned and implement relevant technical changes to the ERs.

Regularly update and manage changes to current Employers Requirements (ER) and performance regimes to reflect the latest standards and practices.

Track and document changes to ERs throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the documentation and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Ensure all relevant information and responsibilities are clearly communicated and documented.

Engage with the market to identify and incorporate the latest best practices in railway maintenance.

Ensure documentation reflects current industry standards and innovation.

Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and understand the technical aspects of railway maintenance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management and customer support to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Organize and manage documentation repositories ensuring all documents are version-controlled and easily accessible.

Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect project updates, new features and user feedback.

Develop and maintain documentation standards and templates to ensure consistency across all documentation.

Stay up to date with industry best practices and incorporate them into the documentation process.

Identify and implement strategies to maximize system safety, reliability, availability and maintainability.

Qualifications

Masters or bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Membership of a relevant professional engineering association is desirable but not required.

15 years of experience in the rail industry with a focus on metro and tram systems.

Strong background in technical writing with excellent communication skills, preferably in the railway industry.

Proven track record in preparing employer requirements with operation and maintenance experience on railways.

Knowledge of maintenance construction and design for metro systems.

In-depth knowledge of rail safety standards and industry regulations.

Experience with rail‑specific technologies including rolling stock, signalling and communication systems.
