Overview

Job Title : Interface Lead

Location : Doha (initially), then site-based

Employment Type : Contract

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing technical and contractual interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and deliverables. Initial focus will be on port-related civil and marine works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate interface activities.
  • Provide guidance on physical interfaces between dredging works and other project scopes.
  • Resolve interface-related issues to avoid delays or claims.
  • Organize and participate in interface meetings; maintain interface registers and track close-outs.
  • Develop and implement Interface Management Plans, including matrices and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline interface reviews (civil, MEP, instrumentation, etc.).
  • Maintain interface tracking database and ensure contractor plans are effectively implemented.
  • Coordinate marine survey data, bathymetry validation, and handover documentation.
  • Ensure timely evaluation and approval of interface agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences.
  • Minimum 8 years of interface management experience in large-scale oil and gas projects.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
  • Knowledge of project functions such as planning, cost control, procurement, and contract management.
  • Proficient in interface management software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards for civil discipline.
