Wood has an opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Engineer (Rotating & Static) to join our team in Qatar on a long-term basis.

• BSc., University in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience and Skill set
• Minimum 15 years experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related Rotating mechanical Design and Engineering
• Performs as a professional rotating equipment engineer for projects and plant modifications from Front End Development through execution / commissioning and start-up. Past work experience should entail but not limited to the following : Technical support for operation and maintenance of rotating equipment Testing, installation, commissioning and start up of rotating equipment Design, selection and specification of rotating equipment, drivers, ancillaries, transmission, safeguarding & monitoring system
