Responsibilities
- Developing strategies for meeting sales objectives
- Managing relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Supervising sales staff and providing guidance in order to meet targets
- Ensuring that all members of the sales team are up-to-date on product knowledge
- Analyzing information such as customer data, competitor activities and market trends in order to make decisions on pricing, product offerings and services
- Monitoring sales performance against targets and taking corrective action where necessary
- Creating reports on sales performance and progress
- Liaising with other departments such as marketing, finance, operations etc. in order to ensure smooth running of the business
