QC Painting and Coating Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Painting and Coating Inspector to join our team in the oil and gas industry The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that painting and coating applications meet industry standards specifications and regulations The inspector will work onsite to monitor and inspect painting and coating processes materials and finished products to ensure quality and integrity Conduct visual inspections of painting and coating applications to ensure compliance with industry standards specifications and regulations Review and interpret project specifications drawings and documentation Monitor and control painting and coating processes including surface preparation application and curing Inspect materials and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards Identify and report defects damage or nonconformities Collaborate with contractors fabricators and operators to resolve issues and improve quality Maintain accurate records of inspections tests and reports Stay uptodate with industry developments standards and best practices
