Contract Engineer

Contract Engineer Job Location Doha Qatar Responsibilities Prepare review and negotiate contract terms ensuring alignment with project objectives legal requirements and company policies Support the project teams in contract administration including tracking deliverables managing contract changes and ensuring all parties adhere to contractual obligations Identify potential contractual risks and issues and work with legal and project teams to develop mitigation strategies Handle contract amendments variations claims and disputes providing advice and support to project teams to ensure timely resolution Liaise with clients subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate contract execution and maintain professional working relationships Monitor contract performance ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions and initiate corrective actions when necessary Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all contractrelated activities including correspondence modifications and approvals Job Details Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration Law or a related field Certification in Contract Management e g NCMA IACCM preferred Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management or contract engineering preferably in the oil and gas construction or infrastructure sectors
