Minimum Requirements : Candidates currently outside of Qatar. Fulltime Studies Bachelor’s degree in Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Health Sciences, or Nursing. Must have a valid license to practice from country of origin. Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar. Credentialing from CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International is highly preferred. Essential Experience : Minimum 5 years' experience in echo cardiovascular technology performing technical Doppler scanning. Must have the ability to distinguish between abnormal and normal Doppler echo study. Job Responsibilities : Perform technical Doppler Echo scanning, to distinguish normal from abnormal Doppler echo study. Assist doctors during scanning and special echo procedures such as TEE, Dobutamine, myocardial contrast study, and intraoperative TEE. Prepare patients for Doppler echo study and enter data into echocardiography machines. Prepare tapes, CDs, DVDs for recording patient test results. Conduct preliminary scanning and inform physicians of results. Transfer studies to digital echo network and prepare studies for review. Finalize studies in computer, check, maintain, and troubleshoot the digital echo network.
