Job Description :

  • Proactively supports the Sous Chef in providing leadership and management of the bakery and pastry operations.
  • Ensures the consistent production of high-quality breads, viennoiseries, cakes, and pastries, meeting Four Seasons’ standards of excellence.
  • Develops and tests new bakery items in collaboration with the culinary team, bringing creativity and innovation to the menu.
  • Maintains strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and presentation standards within the bakery section.
  • Manages inventory, ordering, and cost control for bakery and pastry ingredients, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste.
  • Trains, motivates, and mentors bakery team members, fostering a culture of passion and craftsmanship.
  • Contributes to banquet operations with creative dessert and bakery presentations that elevate the guest experience.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills :

  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
  • College degree, preferably in Hospitality Management
  • 3-4 years of culinary experience in a similar position
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
