Machinist - Rotating Equipment

Partner with the best The Machinist will work with the respective cell leader of the Qatar Service Center to ensure all company standards and organizational needs are met. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for : Operating and performing Turning, Drilling, Milling, Grinding, and Boring activities to required specifications Performing assembly & disassembly of rotors (Gas Turbine / Compressor) Selecting the appropriate cutting / hand tools, processes, hand tools, and equipment for the task Checking machinery daily to guarantee functionality Performing dimensional and visual inspections of rotors / GT related components Performing visual dye penetrant inspection Completing required documentation with accurate information such as routers / job cards, labor reporting, checklists, and inspection reports Understanding measuring instruments, mechanical equipment, and use of lifting tools Preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines, balancing facilities, and auxiliaries Maintaining a clean work area and contributing to overall housekeeping efforts Updating digital shop systems related to assigned work (Digital Work Order, Time Vouchering, Operation completion) Ensuring the work area complies with HSE requirements and full compliance with BH Policies / Procedures Fuel your passion Having a High School Certificate and related experience Having 10+ years of relevant experience Extensive knowledge of Turning, Drilling, Boring, Milling, and balancing processes Rotor disassembly / assembly knowledge Understanding engineering drawings & specifications Fluent written and spoken English Knowledge of CNC Milling operations is an advantage Knowledge of balancing operations is an advantage Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
