Job Description
The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights that support strategic planning and informed decision-making. This position is responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, conducting forecasting and budgeting activities, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations and policies. The Financial Analyst contributes to the overall financial health and sustainable growth of the organization by delivering high-quality financial analysis and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for performance improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and assist with ongoing budget monitoring and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with business units to gather financial inputs, assess financial impacts, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor key financial indicators, such as revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support business cases, investment decisions, and risk assessments.
- Assist in the development of management dashboards, financial presentations, and ad hoc reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to financial systems, tools, and reporting processes.
Requirements
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CFA / CPA is a plus)Experience :
3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting rolesExperience in corporate finance, strategic planning, or business analytics is preferredTechnical Skills :
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas)Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Power BI)Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP)Soft Skills :
