My client, a highly reputable organisation is looking for a Head of Project Engineering to join their team in Qatar! Are you a seasoned engineering professional with a passion for driving complex capital projects from concept to commissioning? We have an exciting opportunity for a senior Project Engineering leader! Key Responsibilities

Serve as a single point of responsibility for managing multi-disciplinary capital projects Develop and execute effective contracting strategies Implement robust project controls for scope, schedule, budget, and resources Proactively manage project risks and provide regular progress reporting to senior management Ensure comprehensive QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) Management Systems Lead complex technical and contractual problem resolution Manage stakeholder interfaces, including government approvals and certifications Oversee project tendering processes and bid evaluations Support professional development of project engineering teams Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred) Professional engineering / project management association membership advantageous 15+ years total experience, including : 10 years in energy / industrial sector 5+ years in team management or similar leadership role

Proven track record in project management across all project lifecycle stages Strong skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making Excellent communication and team-building capabilities They offer a challenging role that requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex, multi-cultural project environments and drive successful project delivery.
