Social Media Specialist

is responsible for managing and executing an organization's social media strategy across various platforms. This role involves creating content, curating posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. The position blends creativity with data‑driven strategies, aiming to strengthen the organization's online presence and improve its relationship with its audience.

Social Media Management

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Threads and TikTok.

Create, schedule, and monitor social media posts to engage audiences and grow following.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with campaign goals and brand messaging.

Monitor and report on social media metrics, adjust strategies based on performance, and implement new trends.

Content Creation

Design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and visuals for social media posts.

Create and edit video content for reels, stories, and longer formats to drive engagement.

Collaborate with photographers and videographers, or handle product photoshoots as needed for social media content.

Branding and Visual Identity

Ensure all graphics and visual content adhere to the brand's identity, maintaining consistency in colors, typography, and overall design aesthetics.

Work closely with the marketing and design teams to maintain a cohesive visual identity across all marketing channels.

Graphic Design

Create banners, brochures, posters, and other print and digital materials for marketing campaigns and events.

Design email marketing templates, newsletters, and advertisements.

Develop unique and creative design concepts for promotional activities, ensuring they resonate with the target audience.

Collaborate with the marketing team, copywriters, and external agencies to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.

Stay updated with the latest design and social media trends and apply them to enhance content.

Engagement and Community Management

Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.

Organize and execute social media contests, giveaways, and interactive campaigns to foster engagement.

Build relationships with influencers and collaborators for content partnerships.

Qualifications Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in graphic design and social media management, ideally within a marketing or advertising agency.

Design Skills

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or other design tools.

Strong portfolio showcasing creative social media content, marketing materials, and branding design.

Ability to translate concepts into visually compelling designs.

Social Media Expertise

In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), algorithms, and best practices.

Paid Advertising : Experience with social media ad platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads, X Ads and LinkedIn Ads.

Experience in creating engaging multimedia content (graphics, GIFs, videos) and managing posting schedules.

Familiarity with social media tools (Hootsuite, Buffer) for scheduling and performance tracking.

Creativity & Innovation

Strong creative thinking skills and ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals.

Up-to-date on the latest digital and design trends.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining high-quality output.

Communication & Teamwork

Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Ability to take feedback constructively and make revisions to designs based on input from various stakeholders.

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team to execute projects.

Other Skills

Mac proficiency : Comfortable navigating macOS and its tools.

Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.

Experience in Medical business field is an advantage.

Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
