Overview
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, lighting, and fixtures. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and tools. Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and layouts. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Test continuity of circuits using testing devices such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, or insulation resistance testers. Identify electrical hazards and take corrective action. Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Support shutdown or project activities as required.

Requirements
Education & Certifications :ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Trade test certification or local license (if applicable).Electrical safety certification (preferred).Experience :Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrician Technician in industrial, commercial, or construction settings.
Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects is a plus.Skills & Competencies :Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring practices.
Ability to use electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment.Familiarity with cable glanding, termination, conduit installation, and panel wiring.Understanding of safety protocols and PPE requirements in electrical work.Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces, and under varying environmental conditions.Seniority level
