Brazer Duct Brazing

Perform coppertocopper and coppertobrass brazing using torch and filler metals typically silverbased alloys Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and work instructions Prepare materials for brazing by cleaning aligning and securing parts Inspect brazed joints for quality assurance using visual and measurement tools Maintain equipment and ensure brazing tools are in proper working condition Follow all safety procedures and protocols related to brazing handling gases and heat sources Record production data including quantity materials used and any nonconformance issues Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to ensure product specifications are met Requirements Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in copper brazing or similar thermal joining processes Education High school diploma or equivalent vocational training or certification in welding brazing is preferred Technical Skills Proficiency in oxyacetylene torch brazing Familiarity with HVAC refrigeration system components preferred Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints Certifications Third party Copper Brazing Certification Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing or HVAC production environment Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO or ASME Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
