As Mission Critical Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) you interact with the customer on a regular basis in a proactive and programmatic manner. You are familiar with the solutions and customer’s organization. You bring deep technical knowledge and “know me” of the overall solution and understand how it contributes to the customer’s business goals. You define and own execution of architectural updates to customer’s environment to meet optimization goals.

During a critical situation, you function as the customer’s single point of contact. You are the link between the customer, support and engineering. You provide the context of the solution and the impact of the current critical situation. You provide the available status information at the right level back to the customer.

Your proactive technical work lays the foundation for a successful operation of the solution. You deliver solution-oriented proactive services to ensure solution reliability, stability and optimal performance. You provide technology-specific deep technical expertise. You deliver ad-hoc trainings / workshops according to the customer’s needs. You ensure the solution is built & run according to leading practices and provide the technical knowledge to remediate issues.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Strong Azure and Identity related experience.

As mentioned above, alongside proficiency in Azure Infrastructure, having knowledge in Cloud Identity is advantageous. Further specifics regarding skill sets are highlighted below.

Azure Infrastructure :

• High availability and disaster recovery features for IaaS components.
• Azure Governance / Cloud Adoption FrameworkAzure Policy, Management Groups, Governance / Compliance as Code
• ARM JSON or Terraform Templates – (Infrastructure as code) Azure CLI and / or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of Windows and / or Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with Azure PaaS, WVD, Identity, or Azure Security offerings is a plus.
• Security concepts for Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Operating Systems
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Containers / Docker knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting skills and support experience
• Face-to-face customer engagement skills
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Troubleshooting knowledge & skills, Microsoft Certifications and / or AWS qualifications desirable
• Degree qualification or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum / ITIL / Service Management

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities for this role include advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for Azure solutions that align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework. In this role, you implement solutions on Azure by partnering with various other job roles, including Developers, Administrators, Security and Data Engineers.
