Industrial Painter / Shot Blaster

Overview

This position is based in Ireland.

Prepares surfaces by shot blasting or sandblasting to remove rust, scale, and old coatings, then applies industrial-grade paints, epoxies, or protective coatings to metal structures, machinery, or equipment in industrial settings (e.g., factories, shipyards, construction sites).

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by shot blasting, sandblasting, or other abrasive methods to remove rust and old coatings.
• Apply industrial-grade paints, epoxies, and protective coatings to metal structures, pipes, and equipment.
• Operate blasting and spray painting equipment safely and effectively.
• Mix paints and coatings to correct specifications.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality, thickness, and adherence to specifications.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing full PPE and managing hazardous materials.
