Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a :

Job Purpose :

  • Operate process and utility equipment, wells, pipelines, etc., safely and efficiently, following operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor and control all oil, gas production, and utility systems to meet production and environmental targets.
  • Participate in the Offshore Emergency Response Team during incidents to minimize harm to personnel, environment, and assets.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing risk assessments to identify hazards, implement mitigations, and reduce risks.

Main duties include :

  • Assist the Production Supervisor in safely delivering core business operations through active management of production tasks.
  • Act as Permit Authority, ensuring all work complies with Permit to Work procedures and company standards.
  • Provide analysis and feedback on production volumes, opportunities, and risks to enhance performance.
  • Lead personnel to meet production targets and optimize production and rejection volumes.
  • Promote NOC core values, safety, trust, respect, and collaboration across the organization.
  • Encourage cost-consciousness to foster a strong cost culture.
  • Maintain an incident-free environment by establishing a strong safety culture.
  • Participate in health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures to ensure safety of all personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures to maintain process safety, operational safety, and plant integrity.
  • Conduct chemical stock checks and optimize chemical injections.
  • Isolate and secure equipment for maintenance.
  • Profile

    Minimum qualifications include a Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND, or equivalent). A driver certificate issued by a recognized institute is required. Experience with seatrax pedestal cranes, Liebherr, hydro lift, or similar equipment is preferred.

    Required experience : At least 10 years in oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants, with a minimum of 5 years offshore experience on-field equipment.

    Fluent in English, with strong communication skills. Good interpersonal, organizational skills, and computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
