Position Overview

The ENTERTAINER is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business operations across the GCC with a primary focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This role is based in Qatar but will require expertise in navigating the legal landscape across all GCC countries. The successful candidate will safeguard our reputation by ensuring strict adherence to legal guidelines and providing expert legal advice to management on all relevant issues. You will play a crucial role in ensuring legal conformity and minimizing exposure to risk across the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GCC corporate law and legal practices with experience in managing legal matters across multiple GCC jurisdictions. This includes a solid understanding of regional legal frameworks regulatory requirements and dispute resolution processes.

As Legal Counsel you will

• Legal Documentation and Contract Management : Draft review negotiate and manage a variety of commercial agreements contracts and legal documents.
• Legal Advice : Provide accurate commercially sound legal advice to all stakeholders on various issues (including employment laws). Clarify legal language or specifications for the organization.
• Risk Mitigation : Identify mitigate and manage contractual legal and commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle. Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive legal advice.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Dispute Resolution / Litigation : Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes including coordinating with external legal counsels. Advise on settlement negotiations and legal strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders and Companys management to develop effective defense strategies.
• Governance : Specify and monitor internal governance policies.
• Legal Updates : Stay current on legislative changes.
