Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Senior Document Controller to join our Roads Operations and Maintenance team in Doha, Qatar. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems and procedures
- Manage the receipt, distribution, and filing of all project documents and technical drawings
- Ensure all documents are properly coded, stored, and easily retrievable
- Coordinate with project teams to gather and organize necessary documentation
- Perform regular quality checks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of document databases
- Prepare document control reports and maintain up-to-date document registers
- Assist in the development and implementation of document control best practices
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve documentation issues
- Ensure compliance with local Qatar regulations and standards related to document control
- Train and guide junior document control staff as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in document control, preferably in roads operations and maintenanceProficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong knowledge of database management, filing, and archiving systemsExperience with construction or engineering projectsExcellent technical writing and editing skillsIn-depth understanding of quality control proceduresKnowledge of roads operations and maintenance processesFamiliarity with construction and engineering documentationStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficientlyExcellent organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of local regulations and standards in Qatar related to document control and record-keepingDocument Control certification (e.g., IDCA) preferredAdditional Information
