We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager with a strong focus on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) to lead and manage environmental compliance activities across our operations. The ideal candidate will ensure our projects and facilities adhere to all ESIA requirements, Environmental Management Programs, and relevant environmental legislation—both locally and internationally.
This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring ESIA studies, liaising with consultants and regulators, auditing and inspecting operations, reporting compliance status, and driving sustainable operational practices across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead all stages of ESIA studies, including baseline surveys, stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, reporting, and presenting findings.
 - Ensure compliance with national and international environmental standards and project-specific requirements.
 - Liaise with environmental consultants and regulatory bodies to close compliance gaps.
 - Develop, implement, and monitor environmental compliance programs and policies.
 - Conduct site inspections and audits, monitor mitigation measures, and ensure adherence to permits and licenses.
 - Prepare accurate internal and regulatory compliance reports.
 - Support the development of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and procedures.
 - Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and implement emergency response measures.
 - Facilitate workshops, briefings, and community engagement activities.
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).Professional certification (e.g., Certified Environmental Auditor).Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.GCC experience is a plus.Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex compliance data clearly.Experience with regulatory authorities, environmental consulting, or industrial operations.Environmental Compliance & Risk ManagementStakeholder Engagement & CommunicationData Analysis & ReportingResilience, Agility, and Quality FocusAdditional Information
