Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Holy Quran / Arabic Instructor to join our team in Mauritania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quranic studies and Arabic language instruction, and be passionate about teaching and helping students develop their religious knowledge and language skills.

Benchmarks and standards :

Candidates must have a deep understanding of the Holy Quran and be able to teach Tajweed rules and proper recitation.
Candidates must have a proven track record of teaching Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers of various ages and proficiency levels.
Candidates must be fluent in both written and spoken Arabic, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Teach Holy Quranic studies and Arabic language to students of various ages and proficiency levels.

Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of individual students and small groups.

Provide guidance and support to students in their Quranic memorization and recitation.

Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.

Create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Holy Quran and Tajweed rules.

Proven experience in teaching Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers.

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work effectively with students of various ages and backgrounds.

Prior experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is preferred.
