SR. PROCESS ENGINEER

Company : QatarEnergy Skills : Process Engineer Experience : 6 + Years Education : PhD / Doctorate Location : Mesaieed, Al Wakrah Municipality, Qatar Department TECHNICAL (REFINING) Primary Purpose of the Job Performs a variety of process engineering duties in the plant, including monitoring performance of plants and facilities, preparing daily performance summary, and recommending corrective actions to deal with abnormalities. Prepares studies to develop, test and implement changes in plant operations. Required Experience and Skills Minimum 6 years hands-on experience in process / operations in Refinery or Linear Alkyl Benzene plant. Fluent in spoken and written English language. Good personal & oral communication skills. Proficient in Process simulation tools in Refinery or in Linear Alkyl Benzene plant. Professional usage of Refinery Information System (RIS), Process Historian Data (PHD), Laboratory information system, SAP, off-site Automation software applications and PC software, such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Graphics / Presentation packages, Workflow charting etc. Good knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 17025 and ISO 14000 requirements to be able to implement the Refinery's IMS procedures. Good comprehension of applicable International Standards in Refinery. Analytical skills in Refinery or LAB plant economics business. Presentation and communication skills, ability to draft effective written Technical documents. Educational Qualifications BSc in Chemical Engineering or in Petroleum Processing Engineering.
