Health Science Teacher

Overview Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in Health Science designed to fulfill their maximum potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills that will prepare them for success in higher education and society.

Responsibilities

Use planning and preparation time effectively

Promote a positive classroom environment

Provide quality instruction

Demonstrate appropriate professional responsibilities

React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned

Support the value of an education

Support the mission and vision of ISME School

Comply with all school’s policies, rules and regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Teaching License / Certificate preferred

Teaching experience in accredited schools

Current licensure, certification or registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency as a health professions practitioner (Health Care worker preferred with two-years long-term care experience)

Two years of full-time wage-earning experience as a health professions practitioner utilizing one or more of the licensure(s) required for practice in a specific health profession
