CCTV Support Engineer

The CCTV Support Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining all existing CCTV systems including software hardware and networks within Ezdan Holding Group and its subsidiaries The engineer will also oversee the installation and implementation of new CCTV projects ensuring compliance with company standards and the latest MOI regulations This role requires strong expertise in CCTV technology system integration vendor coordination and surveillance operations to ensure seamless security coverage across all company locations Job Duties and Responsibilities Project Management Coordination Plan and oversee CCTV installation projects from initiation to completion Coordinate with vendors technicians and contractors to ensure timely delivery of hardware and services Develop project timelines monitor progress and promptly resolve implementation issues Operations System Monitoring Monitor CCTV system performance to ensure continuous uptime and optimal security coverage Coordinate scheduled maintenance upgrades and repairs with the support team Ensure all surveillance equipment complies with updated MOI standards and policies Vendor Supplier Management Liaise with vendors for procurement equipment repairs and system upgrades Collaborate with security teams IT departments and other stakeholders to align CCTV operations with organizational goals Manage contracts and service agreements with thirdparty providers CCTV Stock Management Receive inspect and document incoming and outgoing CCTV equipment e g cameras DVRs NVRs cables tools Maintain accurate inventory records and update the stock database regularly Monitor stock levels to ensure availability of essential equipment and prevent shortages Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records Ensure timely dispatch of equipment to installation sites or technical teams Track issued items and follow up on their return or replacement Installation Configuration Install configure and integrate CCTV cameras analog and IPbased DVRs NVRs and VMS platforms Set up and test network connections for IP cameras and related infrastructure Coordinate with electricians vendors and contractors for cabling and hardware installation Monitoring Troubleshooting Monitor surveillance systems for faults or downtime Diagnose and resolve hardware software or connectivity issues efficiently Provide remote troubleshooting assistance to clients using manuals and tools Reporting Compliance Maintain detailed logs of incidents system downtimes and repairs for audits and reports Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and security regulations governing CCTV operations Prepare and present system performance reports and incident trends to management Training Support Provide operational training and technical support to security personnel and endusers Develop manuals guides and standard operating procedures SOPs for CCTV operations and troubleshooting Perform other tasks as assigned by direct manager Skills Skills Multitasking Problemsolving Time Management Negotiation Reporting Analytical Thinking Conflict Resolution Change Management People Management Budgeting and Organization Skills BehaviouralCompetencies Business Acumen Customer Focus Innovations and Change Analysis and DecisionMaking Teamwork and Leadership Drive for Results Integrity and Commitment Communicating and Influencing Equality diversity and respect Language s Arabic and English Computer Good Command of using MS Office Applications Tools and ERP System Microsoft Dynamics 365 Knowledge Strong understanding of IP cameras DVRs NVRs VMS platforms and network infrastructure Experience with CCTV system software such as Milestone Hikvision or Dahua VMS Knowledge of structured cabling PoE and basic networking principles Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to coordinate with crossfunctional teams and vendors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Other Holding a valid driving license in Qatar is preferable Education Bachelors degree in Electronics IT or a related field You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
