Job Description Reporting to the Venue Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests
Assist guests with beverage selections by providing detailed information on menu items, specials and promotions
Prepare, mix and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and recipes
Maintain proper stock levels and ensure inventory is managed as per hotel guidelines
Ensure the bar area is clean, organised and well‑presented at all times
Have full knowledge of all beverage lists, menu items, ingredients and preparation methods
Follow established service standards, policies and procedures to maintain consistency and guest satisfaction
Adhere to all safety, sanitation and hygiene procedures while handling food and beverages
Report any maintenance or stock issues to the Venue Manager promptly
Participate in training sessions and meetings as required
Support colleagues and maintain a positive team environment
Perform other duties as assigned by the Venue Manager or F&B leadership
Qualifications
Previous bartending experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of all beverage products
including spirits, wines, beers and cocktails
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities
Highly responsible and reliable
Ability to work well under pressure
in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues
as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs , remaining calm and courteous at all times
