Support the Strategy PMO (Senior) Managers in managing, monitoring, steering, and tracking projects to ensure timely, on-budget, and within-scope delivery. Assist in preparing management information reports for planned and ongoing projects. Help in the day-to-day operations of the Group Project Management Office (PMO) for planned, ongoing, and ad hoc projects, roll out and champion the project management methodology, processes, tools and templates to manage the project portfolio within QNB Group. Learn and gain knowledge of the comprehensive project management methodology, standards, tools, templates, and processes. Responsibilities

Shareholder & Financial :

Assist in reporting against KPIs to monitor and track the Group’s portfolio of on-going projects. Implement KPIs and best practices for the Associate Strategy PMO. Promote cost consciousness and efficiency to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank.

Customer (Internal & External) :

Assist within the Group PMO in project-related matters (e.g., data collection, liaison with project managers) and reporting of projects with regards to Group PMO standards, processes, tools and templates. Maintain issue / risk logs, project plans, and reporting; coordinate project meetings and communications within the project team. Support and manage the smooth planning, running and follow-up of Group PMO meetings; act as an ambassador for the Group PMO in customer-facing meetings and communications, promoting professionalism and best practices. Support in preparing management information reports on planned and ongoing projects as directed. Support rolling out the new project management methodology within QNB Group and build relationships with related departments.

Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory) :

Assist and support in maintaining and developing Group PMO documentation, including processes and policies. Support day-to-day internal Group PMO processes as directed by the Strategy PMO (Senior) managers and VP, Strategy PMO. Maintain the inventory of projects including relevant documentation and information in Group PMO tools. Regularly update project information via status reports aligned to scope, plan and objectives. Support additional mandates and ad hoc requests for the Senior Strategy PMO managers and VP, Strategy PMO. Participate and support setup and running of project / team meetings as required. Support development of training material and rollout of training sessions for project managers.

Learning & Knowledge :

Possess a basic understanding of Project Management theory and practice. Identify areas for professional and self-development; strive to learn project management methodology.

Legal, Regulatory, and Risk Framework Responsibilities :

Comply with applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements including AML / CTF, Sanctions, Data Protection, Fraud Control, Whistleblowing, Conflict of Interest and Insider Dealing policies. Understand and perform your role under the Three Lines of Defence to identify, measure, monitor, manage and report risks. Ensure good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk policy and support RCSA, KRI, incident reporting and remediation as appropriate. Maintain knowledge to ensure full qualification for the role; complete mandatory training and attend seminars as required.

Other :

Ensure high standards of data protection and confidentiality; maintain professional standards to uphold QNB’s reputation. Perform other ad hoc duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in business administration, finance or science from a leading institution. Fresh Qatari graduates; no previous experience required. Basic understanding of project methodology (e.g., Prince2 and / or PMP) is an advantage; any certification is welcome. Experience in strategy consulting or a related international financial services environment is desirable. Strong numerical, analytical and evaluative skills; good methodological-conceptual skills.
