Construction Supervisor

The Construction Supervisor is accountable for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of construction yard activities. This role ensures that all work is performed to COMPANY standards, international codes, and industry best practices while supervising contractors, subcontractors, and third-party agencies. Key Responsibilities

Promote and comply with COMPANY HSE procedures, values, and applicable laws and regulations. Lead and manage on-site construction activities, reporting progress to the COMPANY focal on a daily basis. Review and approve project schedules and construction activities prepared by contractors and subcontractors. Coordinate with OEMs, Class surveyors, and certification authorities to ensure refurbishment activities meet COMPANY and international standards. Oversee inspections, dimensional control, welding, NDT, and testing activities (vacuum, air, pressure, piping, etc.), ensuring proper traceability and documentation. Manage material and equipment orders to ensure timely availability on site. Coordinate with internal COMPANY entities to obtain necessary approvals for critical activities such as lifting, vessel arrangements, welding, painting, and material movement. Monitor contractor performance, progress, and HSE statistics; intervene and issue Non-Conformance Reports where necessary. Participate in audits of contractor and subcontractor yards, ensuring compliance with critical processes. Review, approve, and validate procedures, records, and as-built documentation including manufacturing record books. Drive continual improvement initiatives through reporting, KPIs, lessons learned, and close-out reports. Support investigations of quality failures, ensuring proper root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented. Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings, providing technical and operational input. Qualifications

Any Graduate / Engineering Degree. Skilled in computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications. Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience associated with quality control, coordination of activities within construction yards, and Oil & Gas industry projects. Must have direct work experience in SPM dry dock refurbishment projects. Strong knowledge of international codes / standards related to design, fabrication, and inspection. Comprehensive expertise in construction activities, welding, material, corrosion, and NDE. Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a complex and multicultural environment.
