Credit Financial Analyst – ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar
The position is full‑time, permanent, based in Qatar, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our finance department. The successful candidate will conduct financial analysis to assess creditworthiness and support decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of credit facility requests received by the department and document recommendations to support relevant bank units in making informed decisions on new lending / investments, renewals, modifications, and restructuring of existing facilities.
- Perform in‑depth evaluation of financial and non‑financial data to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of risk identification, assessment, and measurement across all credit decisions.
- Provide decision‑makers with accurate financial figures, data, and analytical insights to ensure sound, well‑informed credit decisions aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Review and analyze credit‑related information, including sectoral economic conditions, financial solvency and sustainability, collateral adequacy, guarantor strength, and other relevant credit report elements.
- Prepare detailed credit analysis reports on borrowers, assessing their creditworthiness, repayment capacity, potential default risks, and the overall value of establishing or maintaining business relationships. Submit findings and observations to the direct supervisor.
- Supply relationship managers and supervisors with all required financial data, reports, and analyses to facilitate effective decision‑making and recommendation processes.
- Support the analysis of projected cash flows by preparing necessary financial reports and providing the direct supervisor with all relevant supporting data.
- Keep the direct supervisor updated on key developments, market trends, economic reports, and any changes affecting credit portfolios, market sectors, or client performance.
- Provide analytical support for all corporate‑related projects and ensure timely delivery of accurate data, reports, and information to relevant stakeholders.
Required Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, Statistics, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis or financial analysis roles.Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in advanced statistical and mathematical tools, solid quantitative skills, and knowledge of stress tests, Basel, and Credit / Market / Operational / Liquidity Risk.Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Computer literacy and ability to work with applied systems.Good knowledge of the bank’s services and products.Full understanding of work‑governing policies and procedures, including internal and external updates.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong communication and presentation skills.Seniority level
