GIS SPECIALIST

Overview

Manage and maintain GIS databases and spatial data systems for infrastructure projects.

Support the handover process by organizing and integrating GIS data with as-built documentation.

Develop maps, spatial analyses, and data visualizations to support project delivery.

Coordinate with engineering, construction, and handover teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compatibility with client and authority standards.

Provide technical support and training related to GIS applications and workflows.

Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation related to GIS data management and handover activities.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Geomatics, Geography, or a related discipline
• Minimum years of total experience in construction projects
• Minimum 5 years of regional handover experience on major Roads, Infrastructure, and Drainage projects.
• Strong understanding of GIS data management, spatial analysis, and project coordination
• Excellent technical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, or other mapping systems
• Should have own transport.
• Valid QID
