Plant Supervisor

Human Resource Generalist | Readymix Qatar - Holcim | BSc in BA Major in Human Resources About the Job In this role, you are responsible for safe, efficient, and quality-driven operation of the batching facility, overseeing staff coordination, daily production, and strict safety compliance. Key duties include managing material and diesel inventory, liaising with the Technical Department on concrete quality, and ensuring the calibration of all essential equipment. This role is critical for driving operational efficiency, minimizing waste, and maintaining clear communication with the shipping team and customers regarding site readiness.

Responsibilities

Organize pre-shift meeting with drivers and staff for important matters and tool box talks

Monitoring the materials stocks, on a weekly and monthly basis

Monitoring the diesel in stock and consumption

Communication with shipping team about the supplies during the day for material and staff organization for job site

Responsible for talking to the customer to know when the site is ready

Responsible for coordinating with Technical Department about the concrete quality and the materials used in batching plant

Housekeeping in the plants

Minimize the concrete waste inside the plant and control the water usage

Assure that all measurable equipment are calibrated

VPC and preparing tool box talk topics for employees

Follows all safety rules while on the job. Reports minor accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards. Communicates with management regarding any hazards identified in the workplace.

Qualifications Educational Qualification : Engineering or Equivalent experience

Required Trainings and Skills

English language is a must

Proficiency knowledge in computers

Additional Advantageous Trainings

Qatar Driving license for Light vehicle

Area of Experience

Minimum of 5 years work experience in Concrete / Readymix production position.
