  • Minimum Requirements

    Education :

    Master’s in Sports Medicine or formal training (Fellowship, Board-recognized Subspecialty, Specialty Board certification, etc.)

    Licensing & Membership :

    Must hold a valid home-country license as a physician (unrestricted)

    Active membership in a recognized sports medicine society is preferred

    Experience :

    7+ years in clinical sports medicine

    Minimum 3+ years in a similar role, ideally within an elite sports environment

    Previous experience as a Club or Federation Doctor preferred

    Work Environment

    This is a dynamic, field-based position focused on delivering medical care to athletes across sports clubs and federations.

    Flexibility is essential, as responsibilities may shift based on clinical and operational needs.

    Working Relationships

    You will collaborate with athletes, club officials, coaches, physiotherapists, and a wide network of internal and external medical professionals to ensure optimal athlete care and performance.

    Role Overview

    As a Sports Club & Federation Doctor, you play a central role in athlete health and performance—making critical medical decisions, managing injury care, and supporting safe participation in sport at all levels.

    You’ll serve as the key link between the sports environment and hospital-based medical services.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-field medical support for club and federation teams
  • Oversee comprehensive athlete care in both training and competition environments
  • Refer and coordinate with hospital services for advanced sports medicine cases
  • Contribute to injury prevention, treatment, and return-to-play decision-making
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary high-performance team
  • Maintain accurate medical records and actively engage in case management
  • Ensure athletes are medically cleared for participation according to best practices and clinical standards
