Xodus support clients in undertaking front end engineering studies in areas such as decarbonisation electrification CCUS hydrogen renewables as well as conventional Oil and Gas.

As we move further into the scoping development and of such energy projects we require to add new skills and experience to our consultancy mix. Due to continued and expected growth with our hydrocarbons decarbonisation and hydrogen engineering capability Xodus is looking to strengthen our Digital and Data capability locally in the Middle East.

Xodus Digital and Data team works in harmony with our engineering specialists to create engineeringled tools and products for our clients that offer true value in their functionality across decarbonisation emissions reduction production enhancement safety integrity and maintenance visualisation and optimisation.

Xodus Group are currently supporting a major upstream operator in Qatar with development and rollout of their digital twin ambition for their operating assets. We are looking for experienced and ambitious people to join our team and work with our client to successfully deliver their digital strategy.

Purpose of the Role

Successful applicants will be based in Qatar and will be reporting to the Regional Operations Manager but located within our clients office. The role will include full integration into our clients Digital project team working across conceptualisation delivery and roll out of the digital tools. Key responsibilities will include :

• Digital Roadmap reevaluation
• Envisioning & Conceptualising Digital Projects
• Management and Coordination of Digital Project Delivery
• Rollout of digital developments to the business
• Tracking value and performance of the digital developments and managing improvements / updates as required.

The role demands a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant with experience of working in multidiscipline teams through various design phases as well as having an active interest in assisting clients and the wider energy industry through the transition to Net Zero.

The successful candidate will be capable of providing input to a multidisciplined multi stakeholder team using previous experience domain knowledge and judgement to find and implement first class proactive solutions for our clients. They should have prior experience of working on delivery of digital tools products or services.

The candidate should be comfortable with communicating technical concepts in a straightforward manner to other digital project engineers technical subject matter experts project managers and superiors demonstrating the ability to summarize key parameters and drivers succinctly for all audiences and being competent at interfacing at all levels with a wide variety of disciplines.

The role will also demand the candidate to be adaptable to varying assignments at short notice and multitask for delivery of concurrent assignments as required as well as be able to convey the Companys competencies vision and values to internal and external clients. The role requires a proactive diligent approach with excellent communication report writing presentation skills with the ability to summarize key parameters and drivers. Innovative and creative thinking is part of the culture in Xodus and all candidates need to demonstrate the ability and have a proven track record in problem solving.
