Job descriptionPlan, supervise, and execute electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for LV, MV, and HV systems. Ensure that all commissioning procedures, check sheets, and test records are properly completed and documented. Coordinate with construction, mechanical completion, and instrumentation teams for system readiness. Lead and manage electrical technicians, supervisors, and subcontractors during commissioning. Oversee loop checks, insulation resistance testing, hi-pot testing, primary injection, secondary injection, and other functional tests. Ensure proper commissioning of :
Switchgear (LV / MV)
- Transformers and motors
- UPS systems and battery chargers
- Lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems
- Electrical distribution networks
- Review and approve test packages, method statements, and commissioning procedures.
- Monitor system handover from construction to commissioning (A / B punch list clearance).
- Coordinate with vendors for pre-commissioning / commissioning of vendor packages.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE procedures during all site activities.
- Support start-up and energization activities under safe conditions.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports and maintain commissioning logs.
- Participate in technical meetings, commissioning planning sessions, and readiness reviews.
- Provide input to as-built documentation and commissioning dossiers.
Qualification : BE / BTech - Electrical
Experience - Min. 10 years
Candidate must have experience in Gulf.
