Role Overview
The Presales Engineer will play a key role in supporting sales and business development by providing technical expertise and solution design for enterprise telecom solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Qatar market, with proven exposure to large Oil & Gas companies and critical infrastructure environments. The role requires excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and hands‑on knowledge of telecom technologies used in mission‑critical industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design end‑to‑end enterprise Tetra / Telecom solutions tailored to Oil & Gas sector needs.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) sessions for clients and partners.
- Lead discussions with technical stakeholders, network architects, and procurement teams to position solutions effectively.
- Develop high‑quality technical bid proposals, solution documents, compliance matrices & Bill of Materials (BoQ).
- Conduct site surveys, requirement assessments, and feasibility studies for telecom infrastructure projects.
- Evaluate RFPs, RFQs, and tenders to ensure full compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
- Provide accurate sizing, costing, and solution optimization to support competitive bidding.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and internal engineering teams to finalize solution architecture.
- Stay updated on emerging telecom technologies, industrial communication protocols, and security standards.
- Support post‑sales transition activities by handing over detailed technical documentation to delivery teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related engineering field.6–8 years of experience in presales or solution engineering for enterprise telecom infrastructure.Strong project exposure in Qatar’s Oil & Gas sector.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly.Strong understanding of commercial, tendering, and bidding processes in Qatar.#J-18808-Ljbffr
